We have a Certified Diamond Grader who trained with the 'HRD' as a 'Certified Diamond Grader' and 'Polished Diamond Grader' of the 'IGI', two of the highest independent diamond grading laboratories in the world. Another leading diamond grading laboratory is the GIA who are also seen as one of the most highly regarded independent diamond grading companies in the world. This gives you more reassurance that the diamonds being used are of the highest standard.

We have years of experience in manufacturing plain wedding bands, diamond wedding rings, men's wedding rings and diamond engagement rings. How did the name Adamantos be come the company name?

Possibly one of the most frequently asked questions by Adamantos customers provides an answer which could not be any easier to remember: in its simplest form the word Adamantos can be loosely translated as ‘diamond’. Both the terms ‘adamant’ and ‘diamond’ were derived from the Greek source Adamantos and interestingly enough, the present day meaning of the two are not as far apart as you would think: The word ‘adamant’ conjures up images of something inflexible, stubborn and unyielding, or indeed impenetrable and hard - like a diamond.

At Adamantos Ltd we pride ourselves on selling high quality diamonds at top standards, each one being independently graded and checked, using the three leading independent grading laboratories in the world: the ‘IGI’ The International Gemological Institute; ‘HRD’ Hoge Raad Voor Diamant, also known as ‘Antwerp Diamond High Council’; and last but by no means least the ‘GIA’ ‘Gemological Institute of America’. We work very closely with the leading diamond dealers from all around the world to ensure that our stock conforms with the KPC (Kimberly Process Certificate) in the fight against conflict diamonds. It is imperative that all our diamonds come from safe and reliable sources and that all our diamond miners are not subject to hazardous working conditions – and by working with the best we can guarantee that we will source the right stone for YOU.
